hi we would like to take a minute to welcome you and any member of your family to the Harrington Center we will not turn any one away if you live out of state we can work that out if you would like to work over the computer we can do that this center was founded in memory of a very talented woman here is a little information about the woman it is founded in memory of n addition to her work as a special educator she also had a career as a singer-songwriter; she released several albums and was a regular in the Atlanta country music scene for many years. Several of her songs were written out of her experience working with kids with special needs. Many of her songs were deeply spiritual. Cindy Lou Harrington, 68, born April 24, 1953, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia. She never gave up her guitar and could be found playing as part of her rehabilitation from a rare condition of Autoimmune Encephalitis. Despite her condition, she strived to make an impact in the lives of millions, standing by one of her favorite sayings, "Self Care Trumps Everything.
